About Santee Floral Designs

Since opening in 1982, Santee Floral Designs has worked with over one thousand brides and one hundred thousand customers to provide the high levels of quality and service that have come to define who we are.

Originally located in Georgetown Marketplace in Merriam, Kansas, Santee Floral Designs relocated to the Antioch 75 shops in Overland Park in 1991. After fourteen years, we have moved back to Merriam and are now located in the heart of Downtown Merriam at the intersection of Merriam Drive and Johnson Drive, just west of Johnson Drive and I-35. We are members of the Downtown Merriam Partnership and the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce. Our address and contact information can be found on the Contact Us page.

Patty Santee, AIFD

A member of the American Institute of Floral Designers since 1984, Patty has held several regional offices and is a past president of the South Central Region. She served as chairman of the of the 1990 Regional Symposium in Kansas City and has presented programs at National Symposium in 1984 and 1990.

Patty was part of the team of designers for the George H. W. Bush Inauguration in 1989, Liberty Weekend in 1986, the George W. Bush Inauguration in 2005 and was the floral and staging designer for the United Methodist Church Global Gathering in Kansas City, Missouri in April 1997. She's also been a designer and commentator at numerous design shows across the country.
