Case Study: The Kansas City Symphony

When the Kansas City Symphony wanted to create an event to welcome Music Director Michael Stern, they engaged Santee Floral Designs to help make it a night for everyone to remember.

Since the Symphony did not have a space large enough to hold the event, one was created by closing the street in front of the Lyric Theatre in downtown Kansas City and turning it into an elegant and inviting indoor party space where a good time could be had by all.

After personally supervising the acquisition of all necessary city and state permits, and together with The Events Company, a large, temporary structure was put up and decorated with flowers, chandeliers, decorative and functional lighting, two bars, tables, chairs, linens, a stage and a separate food preparation area. Bartenders, wait staff, caterers and all other necessary event personnel were recommended and coordinated so that the Symphony staff could focus on making sure everyone had a great time.
